Sometimes property transaction speed is slightly out of your hands and this case was exactly that.  The buyer two links below had a few hiccups with their mortgage lender, which can happen, and they also had a fairly unresponsive solicitor.  The frustration for an owner at the top of the chain is that waiting with no end in sight can result in a knee jerk actions.

On this property we had to work closely with another estate agent out the of the area and had a fantastic buyer who worked extremely hard to ensure the sale kept together.  Creative thinking is sometimes needed in these cases and that is where experience comes into play as an estate agent.  The positive news is, the sale stayed together, everyone is very happy, and everyone’s goals for the next chapter in their lives are underway…

In truth had this been with a call centre style estate agency this sale would have likely fallen through.
