In May 2007 we drove onto this new Bloor development to view our prospective home and immediately knew it was where we wanted to live. The street layout, the variety of property designs, and quality of the internal decorative finish ticked all the boxes for us. Grenadier Close is one of the most desirable locations to live in Shinfield, there is a true sense of community between all the residents, and we have a private WhatsApp group, providing information and support on various topics. We have truly enjoyed the past 16 years living in this very quiet and private close, but now that our children have left home it’s time for us to move on and free up this lovely house to the next growing family.
Shinfield has a rural village vibe to it, but at the same time literally has everything you need within easy reach, access to local shops, supermarkets, schools, church, village hall, three pubs, and variety of restaurants and take away food services. For the more energetic there is access to lovely country walks and numerous parks, with a variety of football, cricket and tennis facilities. There is also a local theatre group for the thespians among us.
Buses run every 20 mins to Reading shopping centre, or just a 15 mins drive to Reading station and a 26 min fast service to Paddington has you into the centre of London within the hour. The M4 and M3 are easily accessed and provide direct routes to London, Wales, Heathrow, and Gatwick via the M25.

Having lived in the area all my life and selling homes around here for many years I can boldly say this is one of the most desirable roads in Shinfield and I myself would love to be able to live here one day.
This home is nicely positioned at the end of Grenadier Close and has real curb appeal with its corner setting.
You are so well situated for access to all your wants and needs with local amenities within Shinfield Village, including the popular Robyn's Nest Café, Co-Op, post office and some popular pubs close by including The Shinfield Arms, our favourite.
