Owners Comments...

Many aspects attracted me to the property when purchasing a few years ago. Firstly, its proximity to Wokingham town centre and the train station caught my attention. The station is a brisk 10-15min walk while the town centre is just 20mins. I had always lived and worked local to Wokingham without never living here so this was very appealing. Secondly, the development really caught my eye. For a relatively new build, it has not been built like many others with no soul and care attention to aesthetics. The roads are spacious, and all properties have ample parking which makes a huge difference when driving/ walking through the development.

As for the house itself, where do I start?! When I first walked in, I knew it was the one for me and could envisage all the changes you see now. The kitchen and living rooms are spacious and offer a lot of natural light while all bedrooms are big with plenty of internal storage which positively impacts the living spaces. The car port and garage spaces offer plenty of parking and storage space while the garden’s enclosed nature really appealed to me. As for the neighbourhood, all the neighbours are extremely friendly which really does add to the community nature of the area which had been severely lacking in other houses I had owned previously.

Area Comments...

Phillips Close is perfectly suited to be able to stroll into town in around 20 minutes, and with a few good pubs, local shops and country walks and parks all on the doorstep you have the best of everything to choose from. Access to Reading is simple with a few options of routes to take depending on time of day, as is getting into Crowthorne, Sandhurst, Bracknell and even Hampshire.

It's hard to believe this house is coming up 10 years old as it still feels like a show home inside. The current owner has added in bi-fold doors across the whole of the back of the house, and it's so bright and we love the idea of entertaining friends and family here in the summer with the inside/outside living feel they've created.
