This house has been a safe haven for myself and my family for the past 15 years. We have benefited from a quiet cul de sac position but have been within easy reach of both Wokingham and Reading. There are so many good primary and secondary schools nearby and the supermarket and surgery are only a few minutes' walk away. Woosehill is blessed with an abundance of green spaces, paths and parks so I always have somewhere to walk safely. The house though has a large garden which I have enjoyed cultivating. It is efficient to run, an important point in today's rising costs and I will be sad to say goodbye to some fantastic neighbours with whom we share watering and security when one or other of us are away.

Why am I selling? I have reached that heady age of retirement and have decided this is the chance to try something new. The house has huge scope for extension, maybe a room in the attic as the staircase is already in the correct position or the conversion of the extra sized garage. But these are not for me, my partner and myself are thinking of enjoying life at a slower pace maybe by the sea, but I will always have good memories of my happy years at Agincourt EVEN though no one can pronounce it!

Area Comment:

Agincourt is a beautiful no through road with the houses being much less "hemmed in" than many other modern developments. It is a peaceful setting away from the busy roads yet within easy reach of local transport links and Wokingham Town Centre.

Wokingham is a thriving town with lots to explore; in the centre of the town you'll find lots of restaurants, independent and big chain stores, convenience mini markets and pubs. Many of the buildings date back to the 1700-1800's giving the town so much character. The town hall is a beautiful building sitting proudly in the centre. There has recently been lots of investment in the town to include a large children's play park and new leisure centre, gym and bowling alley.

Wokingham also has a mainline train station running on the Waterloo Line giving easy access to Reading and London.
