Sellers view

We have lived in Rivermead Road for 38 years. It's sad to be letting this house go as we have had the most amazing memories here, but we have decided to move to Cornwall. We have had both our children here 35 and 32 years ago and are still friends with all the neighbours and children they grew up with.
The house has been extended and has lots of room for having family and friends round and flows into the garden gazebo area so well.
The living space is really flexible for a young family or teenagers and we’ve worked from home since the start of Covid.
Rivermead School is a great school which is where our children went to many years ago. It's lovely being in a no through road and we are so lucky that we just walk to the end of the road and the river into Dinton Pastures. I can't think of a better place to have brought our children up.
We will be sad to let Rivermead Road go but a new adventure awaits us after 38 years. I do hope whoever ends up with Rivermead caries on making the most amazing memories like we have.

The living space available is perfect for growing families seeking different zones and flexible accommodation. A real bug bear for many people is not having space to take off and store shoes and coats when you get home, with the extended porch/entrance hallway this certainly won’t be a problem.

The living room gives ample space to chill and relax while the electric fire provides the cosy factor. Double glass doors lead through to
the study area and conservatory. Currently used as a dining room, even accommodating 16 people for special occasions. The view of the non-overlooked garden from here is super.
A rear and side extension made way for a large kitchen/ diner complete with rangemaster and plenty of worktop and storage space. There is an inner lobby which would make a perfect utility room if this is on your wish list.
There is also a second reception room, flexible and large enough to be a decent sized forth bedroom if required. The current owners have
used the room in many different ways over the years including a teenager’s bedroom/hideaway, work from home office and second living room.
It would be a fairly simple job to knock down the wall between the second reception room and kitchen/ diner to create a much larger
kitchen/ family room, ideal for those with younger children.

Of course, the ground floor is completed with the all-important downstairs toilet.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms (one with fitted wardrobes), one single bedroom and the family bathroom. A second storey extension to create a forth bedroom and en-suite would be easily achieved (subject to planning consent) as the ground floor extension was done with the correct foundations for a two storey extension.
The corner plot garden has two patios accessed via double doors from the kitchen/ diner and conservatory, one with pergola perfect for BBQs and entertaining. A blank canvass to make it your own as the
rest of the garden is mainly lawned area. The centuries old Oak tree stands tall and provides much needed shade for this south facing sun trap. Please be mindful there is a TPO on the tree so it can’t be cut down.
At the front of the house is driveway parking for three cars with potential to create a forth off road parking space on the grass when
