We have lived in Shinfield for the best part of 5 years and have loved living here. The area caters for all types of individuals and families, as it has all the important amenities/facilities for different needs (local shops, local bus stops, playgrounds, post office, petrol stations, lovely country walks and multiple schools to name a few). It has a country feel but you're still only a few minutes away from the Center of Reading.
Shinfield is also in close proximity to key business hubs in the region, which include Green Park, Thames Valley Business Centre and the town centre itself. There is also a 25 minute express train to London Paddington from Reading train station (13 minute drive), for those needing to travel to London.
Our development is very open and collaborative in that we do support and communicate with each other via public social media groups, which often has added a lot of value for different households. Highly recommend to join these groups and happy to provide the names, for anyone interested.

We have dealt with so many designs within Shinfield Meadows and this is definitely one of my favourite designs, all while being nicely positioned within the estate.
You are welcomed by a spacious entrance hallway, running all the way to the back and letting lots of light come through, off of this you have your downstairs w.c and access into your lounge to the front, with that great big bay window letting even more light floor through, the layout here is great as you have the dining area to the back and this then wraps round into the kitchen, where the sellers have made some nice changes and upgrades, including a useful breakfast bar. You have access out from the dining area onto your patio and south facing garden, with access back to the front on one side and plenty of storage on the other.
Upstairs the layout and space does not disappoint, with three really generous bedrooms and family bathroom. Bedroom two has fitted storage as does the main bedroom, with this further benefitting from a well presented en-suite.

Area view -
Shinfield Meadows is a lovely location, very central to all your needs and wants. Literally, just a few minutes walk you will find the popular Langley Mead nature reserve, which is great for walks and you also have various play parks close by for children. Within a short walk or drive you have plenty of amenities including Dobbies Garden Centre which has a Waitrose local store, along with a great butchers and within Shinfield Village you have Co-Op a few popular pubs, a post office and the very popular Robyn's Nest cafè, which we love.
There are main bus routes close by taking you into Reading or Wokingham towns and you are just a few minutes from Mereoak Park and Ride or junction 11 of the M4, making it a really well connected location. Not forgetting you now have train links with the Green Park station connecting you to Reading and Basingstoke, giving you great access into London too.
