Over our 20 years at 2 Longmoor Close, we’ve loved the house, garden and the Close. It’s been a perfect family home from when our children were born, to learning to ride their bikes in the Close, to open house parties with our wonderful, caring neighbours.

The kitchen is the heart of the house and where we spend the majority of our time. It’s a light, open space to cook, do homework and chill out with friends and family. We’ve had many large parties and friends comment on how relaxing and comfortable they find the house. Working from home is also easy with ultra fast broadband (fibre to the door). The location also supports easy commuting into London with multiple train lines within easy reach to either Paddington or Waterloo.
Finchampstead is a friendly and safe area with shops, restaurants, pubs and schools all a short walk away. As dog lovers we’ve been spoilt by the range of woodland walks nearby, often leading to a pub lunch!

We will be leaving this house with very fond memories but it's time for our next chapter. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

When it comes to great houses, Longmoor Close is right up there... We are absolutely delighted to have the opportunity of selling such an incredible family home in a fantastic position. Our sellers have perfectly summed up why this has been such a great home over the last 20 years from both a space and location perspective as it's the perfect location for anyone moving with a family and always has been a popular location with great schools, parks and woodland right on your doorstep. As you can see this home has some fantastic space on offer and is immaculate, it must be seen in person to appreciate.

On entry, the central entrance hall give you access to three separate reception rooms with the first of those being a great sized study at the front of the house but easily big enough to be used as a playroom or snug. You also have a separate dining room which was previously set up as a gym but has double doors onto living room at the back overlooking the garden. The downstairs cloakroom has been beautifully finished and includes a lit mirror but you also have a storage cupboard under the stairs.
Our favourite room absolutely has to be the extended open plan kitchen and dining space, which as our sellers have said really is the heart of the home and creates the perfect entertaining space. What we love about it is not only the impressive 25 ft size but the bi-folding doors leading onto the patio which has been laid with the same tiles to give you an 'inside outside' feel. The kitchen boasts solid stone worktops, integrated appliances and has underfloor heating which even runs through to the huge separate utility room with access to the garage and side of the home.

Upstairs you have an impressive open landing and the great room sizes continue here too. This home offers five double bedrooms with the first of those being the master bedroom which includes a walk in wardrobe and a beautifully refitted en suite bathroom with walk in shower. The second bedroom also has its on en suite shower room and built in storage, the further three bedrooms comfortably accommodate double beds. Much in the same way as the en suite shower rooms, the family bathroom has been finished to a superb standard with its separate bath and shower.

The westerly aspect garden is gorgeous and perfect for entertaining, it wraps around to the side of the home where you have another patio area with access to the garage. Whilst to the front you have ample driveway parking for multiple vehicles and the opportunity to create more parking if you wish by moving back the fence. Area Comment...
This home sits tucked away at the end of Longmoor Close which is just off Nine Mile Ride. It is just a stones throw away from the popular California Country Park and FBC Centre. Also a short walk away you have some great local amenities including the Co-op, pharmacy and post office not to mention fantastic restaurants. It also falls within many of the areas popular local school catchments such as Nine Mile Ride & Gorse Rise Primary and Bohunt Secondary Schools. If you're looking for some open green space to explore or take your dog for a walk, you've got some great choices locally such as Simons Wood and as we've already mentioned the FBC Centre and California Country Park which both have fantastic playparks and cafes too. Wokingham Town Centre and Train Station is also only a 12 minute drive away, having recently been redeveloped it really is a great place to go with plenty of well known and independent retailers. You also have some fantastic transport links into London with easy access onto the A329, M3 and M4 from here.
