We moved into the house just one day before I gave birth to our son. We were new to the area and, as you can imagine, there was a lot to learn and new places to enjoy. Our daughter also started school for the first time three days after that so life was incredibly hectic.

The house had always felt like home though - even before we knew we’d been the lucky purchaser. Wow, what more can I say about this beautiful home after the sellers view, you really can tell how loved it is. From knowing the area and property well myself as per my earlier comment this is arguably one of, if not the nicest house on Hyde End Road. The double gated entrance really gives you that feeling of seclusion and as soon as you walk into this fantastic home you get that wow factor.

Not only do you have such spacious bedrooms and versatile living space one of the things I really love is the touch of character throughout, with open brickwork and wooden beams.

Spencers Wood really is the best of both worlds as you are semi-rural yet still benefitting from easy access into Reading and even London quickly from here.

Just a short walk away from the property you have Dobbies Garden Centre, where there is also a local butcher, Sainsbury's mini and soon to be their largest food court.
