The Sellers View...
Langford Avenue has been our happy home since November 2018.
During that time we have made so many happy memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We’ve soaked up the sun, splashed around in the paddling pool and hosted Summer bbqs with family from our private back garden. We’ve enjoyed quiet twilight walks over the Farley Hill Estate and down Lamb’s Lane to a small picturesque bridge where all you can hear are the chirps of the birds and trickle of the water.
We’ve danced around, fallen over in fits of laughter and filmed silly Tik Tok dances in the huge kitchen with friends and family.
Our neighbours across the development have always been there to call on in our time of need. From taking in a parcel when we’re not at home, babysitting our three young children, to simply having a chat and putting the world to rights.
From a practical perspective, we have four good-sized double-bedrooms; the master comes with an ensuite. A large living room with a characteristic bay window. The double garage serves as storage for a bbq, bikes and summer garden furniture, as well as having ample space for a home gym. Local amenities are all in close reach. The One Stop Post Office is a 3 - 5 minute walk away.
Chris Jackson runs the local garage and is possibly one of the nicest and most helpful guys you’ll ever meet. Budgens at Three Mile Cross and the Co-Op at Shinfield are a short drive away.
For dining out, there are several places to choose from. The Mill House and George and Dragon at Swallowfield, The Cinnamon Tree at Mortimer, the Elm Tree at Beech Hill and Wokefield Park (a 5-minute drive) offers a cracking golf course and good accommodation.
All in all, we know that the new owners of Langford Avenue will make as many happy memories as we have!
The Area View...
What a fantastic location. Langford Park was developed over the last 4 years, with a real family feel. You are close to lots of amenities and Spencers Wood village.
Who wouldn't want to live near great schools, shops and have the feel of the countryside.?
You have really easy access to the M4 and then Reading and Wokingham.
