Tucked away at the end of the cul-de-sac in a peaceful and secluded location, this could be a dream forever family home for anyone who enjoys the countryside and needs flexible living & work from home spaces and room to grow with extension potential.
Agents view

A woodland setting with ample country walks on the doorstep, potential to extend and easy reach of amenities & outstanding schools. Pretty much the perfect long term family home in my view.

Let's start with the plot. It is exceptional and much larger than average . Surrounded by beautiful mature oak trees and adjacent to a woodland pathway, it feels a world away from hectic day to day life and allows nature to be truly appreciated.
The large driveway has parking for 5-6 cars with scope to increase if ever required.

Stepping inside, the owners have done a great job improving the living spaces by knocking down a dividing wall between the kitchen and
dining room to create a practical open plan kitchen diner. The peninsula creates a perfect hub for the family to gather and for entertaining
guests. The bright turquoise blue cabinets add a sense of flare and personality but also bounce the light around the room so nicely.
Built in appliances include Rangemaster induction range cooker with matching extraction hood, integrated dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There is also a 4-way/boiling tap and water softener installed.

The separate dual aspect living room flows nicely to the garden through double patio doors and has a lovely working fireplace (recently swept)

The ground floor is completed by the downstairs toilet and utility room.

Upstairs, the property has a spacious landing, four bedrooms and two bathrooms (one being an en-suite shower room to bedroom one)

The current owners have converted most of the detached double garage to create a versatile extra bedroom/reception with en-suite shower room. The space is ideal for an annex guest bedroom or teenager's den away from the main house but could also be an ideal work from
home office, salon or gym. The access is via the side gate so customers would not need to enter the main house.
The front part of the garage still offers plenty of storage and workshop space.
The owners have also added air conditioning to the kitchen/ diner, living room and primary bedroom.

The garden is breath taking and much larger than expected for the age of the home. There is certainly space to extend into should this
be desired. Non-overlooked and incredibly peaceful, it would be a challenge to find a better garden anywhere in Woodley Airfield.

My favourite aspects are the beautiful garden, proximity to woodland and fun kitchen/diner.

Sellers view

"We bought this house because of the amazing location which has been great for walking our dog in the countryside so close by.

We've made improvements including installing a Samsung state-of-the-art air source heat pump providing green, economic heating, hot water, and air conditioning in the living room, kitchen/diner, and bedroom one. This attracts a government RHI payment of £160 per year (index-linked) for the next 5 years.

We also converted the garage to create an annex style bedroom which has proved useful for guests to stay in but the space is also really flexible.

We recently had the garden landscaped and put in a large Rhino Autovent greenhouse, large shed with light and power, wildlife pond, children's play area, raised beds, Indian sandstone paving, and new 2m close-board fence all around."
