Seller's Comment...
We moved to Sandhurst in 1984 as I needed easy access to the M3, the later development of Foresters Way provided a quick route to Bracknell and the M4. We have been here in Girton Close for nearly 40 years, a quiet location with no through traffic. It is just a few minutes’ walk to the Doctors, Dentist, Coop, and Chemist. We were fortunate with the size of the plot, often wonder why the builders didn’t put two houses in the space. The south facing rear garden is a good space for relaxing, and at one time we did set a space aside for growing vegetables, old age has made us grass it over for now. While the house provided ample accommodation, we decided to extend. It was a win/win. I got a good-sized study and large garage; my wife enjoyed the benefit of a much larger master bedroom with a large ensuite. The size of the plot allowed us to incorporate the extension in a seamless way, and still offers scope for the future. Now with the benefit of fibre connection it can be an ideal place to work from home. The local bus and train services are good, allowing us to leave the car at home when we want to travel and avoid any issues with traffic and parking. The large M&S, Tesco, and Next at the Meadows makes it easy to get most of our shopping without the need to travel too far. We often walk from the house, there is plenty of scope, over Wildmoor Heath, up to Ceasars Camp and the Devils Highway, continuing on to the Lookout and Swinley Forest, or down to the Sandhurst Memorial Park and surrounding area. Many past and present neighbours are our good friends, we have seen their children grow up, benefitting from schools within easy walking distance of the Close. We will be sad to leave a place that has been so much of our life, but we do need to downsize.

Will and Mike's Comment...
This house has such an impressive look from the outside and has to be one of the largest family homes that we have seen Owlsmoor. Our sellers have perfectly summed up why not only is this a great house but also a fantastic location with so much green space right on your doorstep.
As you can see this home has some fantastic space on offer both upstairs and downstairs with some great room sizes. To the front there is a porch entrance with a downstairs cloakroom, it then leads you into the bay fronted, bright living room which has double doors connecting it to the dining room at the back.
To the rear the house boasts a refitted kitchen breakfast room with lovely views over the garden. It also benefits from a separate utility room that houses the boiler which is only a few years old and the fridge/freezer. An important feature of any family home is the ability to have a playroom or study and this home has just that, but also the ability to great more space by converting one of the garages.

Upstairs all of the bedrooms are a good size with three of them being great size double rooms with built in wardrobes. But the 16ft master bedroom is our personal favourite, having been extended it encompasses built in wardrobes, a huge en suite but also a fifth room which is currently being used as a dressing room but could be the perfect nursery. This home offers a choice of two en suite bathrooms and a family bathroom which are all in great condition.

The garden as our sellers have mentioned is not only South facing but a lovely size and very secluded. There is a gate with side access, whilst to the other side the is plenty of room to potentially extend further. To the the front you have driveway parking for multiple vehicles and a 27ft long garage wide enough for cars. This house is in a great location sitting in a cul de sac, with the entrance to Swinley Forest just a few minutes walk around the corner. The home sits within many popular school catchments but is only a few minutes walk from both Owlsmoor Primary School and Sandhurst Secondary School. You've also got a parade of shops on Yeovil Road for your everyday essentials. But within a few minutes drive you are at the popular Camberley Meadows where you have choice of both Tesco and M&S superstores. If you like the idea of having green space to walk around and a playpark for the children, then this is perfect as Sandhurst Memorial and Snaprails park is less than a mile away from your door.
