Sellers view
I moved into this house in December 2008 and it has been a great place to live. One of the key draws for buying this house was the large corner plot. The garden and decking get the sun for the vast majority of the day, and most of it is not overlooked.

Another reason for choosing this house was that I had always wanted a kitchen / diner. I was very happy to update it in 2013 to a modern new kitchen, and install a range cooker, full size fridge and full size freezer. Another feature is that there is plenty of storage space including a boarded out loft. There is also potential to extend the property.

The location is great. You can walk to Earley train station in 7 minutes and then a 5 minute train journey into central Reading, or you can go in the other direction through Wokingham, Ascot etc to London Waterloo. Both Highwood Nature Reserve and South Lake are very, very close and are lovely for walks. There is also very little traffic which makes it a quiet place to live.

I am selling this house because I am relocating to a new area with my partner, otherwise I am certain I would have enjoyed many more years living in this house. I hope whoever buys this house enjoys living here as much as I have.

Agents view
Standing proudly at the entrance to Lynton Close, this house is ideal for a growing family who are thinking ahead to perhaps requiring more space in the future.

The current owner has lovingly upgraded throughout to create a welcoming and stylish home so there isn't any work required for the next owner unless they choose to jump straight into an extension, either single or two storey would be possible subject to planning permission.

My favourite things are the stunning kitchen with rangemaster and integrated appliances, cosy living room with log burner and pretty front gardens with ample driveway parking.

Location information
A really family friendly spot with good schools within walking distance and so much nature on the doorstep including South Lake and Highwood nature reserve, both beautiful places to explore. In fact the area is hugely popular with dog walkers because of this.

There is a small convenience store a few streets away for the everyday essentials but for your bigger food shops, there are lots of choice with supermarkets all within a ten minute drive.

Woodley Precinct is a hub for locals to meet, relax and shop, reachable in 5 minutes by car.

For commuting, Earley train station is just a six-seven minute walk away over the footbridge or the A329m/ M4 Junction 10 is only 5/10 minutes drive.
