We purchased 1 Cannon Lane as our first home together and moved in February 2021. We both grew up in Maidenhead so we knew the area well and fell in love with the property when we first saw it.
We settled in really quickly and set to work adding our own personal touches throughout the house. We had planned on doing a double storey extension to the side of the house (adding 1 large master suite or 2 extra bedrooms), as well as getting a big open plan kitchen/diner/living space downstairs with a utility room and 2nd toilet. Unfortunately our personal circumstances have changed meaning we will be leaving our hometown. We are both gutted we didn’t get around to making these plans a reality!
Our neighbours have been so friendly throughout our time here. It’s the little things that make our neighbourhood so welcoming such as offering to cut our grass whilst they’re doing theirs or lending us tools to help with our decorating when we first moved in. Parking has never been an issue thanks to everybody being respectful of each other’s dedicated parking spaces and there’s additional space to the side of the house for visitors.
We’re so sad to be leaving 1 Cannon Lane but we know in our hearts that someone else will love it as much we do and make it their own.

This property is in Lowbrook Acadamy and White Waltham C of E catchments which means you have two of Maidenhead's best primary's schools for choice. Cox Green and Newlands are great choices for secondary schools. This property has been well looked after and modernised by its current owners.
