The Landlords View
I have loved living on Sherfield Park for the last five years. It's a super social community - whether we're all getting together for a Royal street party, 'Sherfest' on the green in July, or running in the community competition for the 'best-dressed property' over Halloween and Christmas, everyone gets stuck in to make Sherfield Park a fantastic community in which to live. Additionally, the on-site community centre hosts running clubs, spin classes, photography competitions, and mum and baby groups to name just a few. In fact, it's so inviting that two other family members of mine have also relocated here in the last few years!

It's perfectly placed for quick and easy access to the M3 and M4 - I've commuted easily to Oxford, Bracknell, and Fleet during my time here - and there's a selection of supermarkets, DIY stores, pubs, cafes, and a hospital all within 10 minutes from the front door. I love training and exercising and am involved in the members' community at the nearby Village gym, and when the sun's out love borrowing the family dog for long rambles through the country fields and along the River Loddon, which can be accessed via a public footpath just opposite the development.

The apartment itself is super bright and airy. I love the large sash-style windows that line both sides of the property, meaning there's always tonnes of light flooding through. The balcony off the living room is the perfect spot for morning and evening sun - I often have my first cup of coffee out there on the weekend, and absolutely love watching the sunset at the end of the green in the evenings - it is spectacular! I've spent many days working from home quite comfortably in the second bedroom, but it did start life as a spare room for guests, and was previously used as a dining room by the owners before me. However you choose to use the space, it's the perfect home and community for a single person like me, or for a busy couple looking for a cosy retreat to call home. Either way, I hope you love it as much as I do!

The Area View
Sherfield park is a beautifully unique and modern development which is a 3 minute drive south from the pretty village of Sherfield-on-Loddon, which offers some great pubs, a cafe and lots of open spaces. The development has a local shop and the community centre hosts lots of events and activities for the local community. Due to the property's fortunate location you have countryside on your doorstep and the River Loddon isn't far either, if you like long riverside walks. Being just off of the A33, you can get to Basingstoke in 10 minutes and Reading in just over 25 minutes by car. There are numerous bus stops which are on the number 14 route between Basingstoke & Tadley.
