We moved to North Town Road because we wanted to be near the station but still have the countryside on our doorstep, North Town Moor with walks to Cookham and Bourne End. The maisonette is at the back of a building which only has 6 flats making it nice and private. Over the last 3 years of living here we've never heard a neighbour!
 
It was clear from day one that there is a great community feel. The neighbours are all extremely friendly, welcoming, and have always been there when we've needed. The maisonette benefits from a wrap around garden that's gated which our two small dogs love playing in! The building is pet friendly upon request for well-behaved animals. 
 
One of the main things we've enjoyed about living here is the outdoor space, it's hosted many parties, BBQ's and is the hub for all of our friends. We open the gate between the front and back garden making it a large space for socialising. Also, within the property we have two generous double bedrooms and a huge loft with all the storage we need! There is also scope to extend into the garden. 
 
It is also great for convenience. It's only a 10min walk to the town centre and train station, and just 5min to a smaller station. Crossrail has meant the commute into London is short and simple. There are several shops within walking distance as well as a Cricket Club that's great for enjoying a drink in the sunshine. There is two parking spaces allocated to the property which are in a gated carpark. 

The previous owners had lived here for 10  years with a growing family and a dog and loved its location and flexibility.
 
We're extremely sad to be leaving, however, know that this property will be loved by the next owner!
