We’ve lived very happily at 2 Bardney Close since 2016, and during this time we have modernised the property by converting the dining area of the living room diner and the kitchen to make a spacious kitchen diner and separate living room space. The kitchen diner has a modern feel with integrated appliances including a built in oven with steamer, microwave combi oven, large extractor fan, high gloss tiled flooring and high spec quartz worktops.

Being a family of 4 with two young boys we put our practical hat on and converted part of the garage into a utility room, which is perfect for extra storage and has built in cupboard space for coats and shoes as well as the boiler which was fitted in 2021. The other part of the garage is for storage and is accessed via the external garage door, which was newly installed this year.

The neighbours on both sides of our home are welcoming and friendly, and we soon became friends. Now our children attend the same local school together.
We fell in love with the property due to its quiet and semi-rural location adjacent to Ockwells Park, where our boys love running free.

Our family and friends are all local so we frequently have people visiting us. Luckily we have enough room for 4 cars on the drive as well as plenty of on road parking outside the property.

Transport links are also excellent with a direct rail link to London Paddington available from Maidenhead and the M4 is easily accessible via the A404.

We will be sad to leave 2 Bardney Close but our needs are different now, and we would like to think that the next owners will be as content as we have been living here. It’s a very happy house and I think you can feel that when you walk in.
