Owners comments: When we bought our first home we thought we'd only be here for a few years but ended up staying for eight. We were drawn to the house because of it's peaceful location at the end of a cul-de-sac, lovely garden and great room sizes. We had no idea at the time but it's been the perfect area to start a family and have our 2 children. We're surrounded by so many parks and walks - Lily Hill, Savernake and Swinley Forest are some of our favourites to name just a few. We're also just a 5 minute walk to Martins Heron train station and a supermarket. We love that everything is close by and we don't need to drive everywhere. Within walking distance there are also primary and secondary schools, the local parade of shops, the new Lexicon shopping centre in town, a doctors, dentist and vet. We love living here, but are relocating to be closer to family. We'll definitely miss our first home, the area and our neighbours, but are excited for the future and hope someone else enjoys living here as much as we have.
Area Comments: Ideal for anyone commuting by train as it's under half a mile to Martins Heron train station direct to Reading and London Waterloo, as well as being just a few minutes drive to both the M3 & M4 motorways. There's an abundance of nature to explore on the doorstep and The Lexicon shopping centre is within easy reach with an array of retailers, restaurants and coffee shops.
Ellen & Sanjay's Comments: Harmans Water is always a popular area for people to live, and we love how pretty the garden is with this house in particular. It's presented beautifully, and there is scope to create a downstairs WC in the utility area as many other houses of this style have done so already.
