There are so many things that have made living in this, our first family home, so special. It has been a joy to live in such a bright and spacious home, set in such a beautiful unique spot in Shinfield Meadows. Overlooking the woodland and pond, we have been fortunate to watch various wildlife come and go over the past three and a half years.
We have found the house to be a truly wonderful home for raising a young family due to its large, airy rooms and secluded location. The beautiful bay windows let endless light into the rooms all year round and warm the house, even during the winter months. The living room with it’s two bay windows has given us an expansive space to entertain friends and family, as well as giving our son a large area to learn to roll, crawl, walk and play! The walled garden has created a safe haven for him too, giving him somewhere secure to explore and play which isn’t overlooked. We have taken great pleasure in adding a variety of planting to the sunny garden and extending the patio to entertain family. And planting by hand each part of the hedging in the front garden, well that was a labour of love! The house is full of storage, which is quite rare in a newer build, and has been fantastic for housing all of the extra items we needed as a new family.
This property will always have special meaning to us as the house that we brought our little boy home to, and we hope that it will bring as much happiness to future owners who will be able to enjoy everything that the house and surrounding area has to offer.
