We moved here in November 2012 and have always loved living on Fakenham Way but unfortunately have decided that it is now time to try and upsize a little. We like the area a lot and want to stay as close as possible. We have two young boys who are doing great at the local school and we all love being so close to the local parks at Owlsmoor, Snaprails and Sandhurst Memorial. There are great walks close by too at Wildmoor Heath and Broadmoor Bottom up to Swinley Forest. The house itself is great and with the 3 good size bedrooms and plenty of downstairs space it has made family living easy. We block paved the front drive and converted the garage / kitchen into a Kitchen dinner and that really opened up the house and makes for a great family space. The boys loved that we were then able to change the old dinning room in a playroom, now somewhere to store all their things and a great place for a TV, games console and bean bags. They love it. Most recently we added a garden room to the back of the house, nice big bi-folds and a lantern really make this a lovely room to sit and relax in. The garden is low maintenance with artificial grass and slate edging. There’s plenty of parking and the shared area at the front makes it nice and quiet and safe for kids too. The neighbours are all fantastic and will be missed, hopefully we won’t be moving far away.
