West View Terrace is a fantastic family home. We have fully renovated the whole house and love how the house and gardens can be one big space by opening the bifold doors. It’s open plan so whether the kids are playing, we’re cooking, watching a film, we all still feel like we’re together.
The area is great, with lovely neighbours who regularly look after our many pets, and great schools. Added to that is the local petrol station which I often visit late at night for last minute items for packed lunches.
In the housing estate at the back of the property is a perfect playground, which can easily be accessed by cycle routes making it a stress free trip out.
For the adults is the koi pond. We spend many an evening with a cider and a BBQ entertaining friends on our patio and watching the fish.

Agents view -
As soon as you step foot inside this home you can tell it has been well loved and developed to a high standard. I love the fact you get the best of both worlds with it being an early 1900's home yet modernised throughout to give you open plan living and high standard finishes to keep with the character, such as the sash windows and cast iron radiators.
The bedrooms are set over the first and second floors with the top floor having a Juliet balcony looking out onto the garden, the shower room is epic with the high ceiling and Victorian style toilet.
Downstairs the living space is brilliant and really versatile with bay fronted lounge, leading to a useful dining area then the extension to the back also gives you further dining/family space to the back of the kitchen, perfect for entertaining. There is also a bathroom on the ground floor and the focal point of the home is the huge sky lantern above the kitchen, drawing so much light in, then you have bi-fold doors opening out onto the patio and garden that stretches circa 170ft in length with a large store/out building separating the two useable areas.

Area view -
West View Terrace is nicely positioned towards the end of Basingstoke Road and set back from the road itself, this spot give you great access out to all your wants and needs, along with an abundance of green space to enjoy close by.
Three Mile Cross has local amenities and you're not too far from either Spencers Wood or Shinfield offering further amenities and pubs. You are well positioned for access into Reading town centre with public transport links including Mereoak Park and Ride just a short walk away from this property and you will also have easy access to the new train link coming into Green Park.
