Our Uncle bought this house from new around 40 years ago as it was convenient to travel to work at Brunel University. The neighbours, some of whom have also been there since new, are very friendly and always look out for each other. The house is well situated for Windsor and Maidenhead, for shopping, theatre, sightseeing and attractions. There are plenty of places to eat and drink locally, the George on the Green and the Belgian Arms, and some very good high end restaurants in Bray, for a special treat. The Fat Duck and The Hinds Head, and the famous Waterside Inn by the river. Our Uncle particularly liked The Beehive at White Waltham. The area is good for long walks, ending at one of the hostelries. Being not far from the motorway network makes travelling easier. The garden was where our Uncle liked to sit and was fond of the climbing rose above the patio doors. He enjoyed the peace of the location. The kitchen is central to entertaining with plenty of room for a table full of guests. There is plenty of off road parking for visitors and family.
