The Sellers View...
Our Aunt and Uncle bought this detached bungalow in 1986, knowing it was a good neighbourhood and was convenient for travelling to work at Heathrow Airport. It is also ideally situated for shopping and sightseeing in Windsor and Maidenhead and is between the M4 and M40 for easy access into London and surrounding areas. It is also only a short walk to the nearest railway station.
The south facing garden has been well cared for and is laid mainly to lawn for easy maintenance and there are fruit bushes to one side of the garden behind a small wall and a plum tree behind the shed on the other side. There is also a concrete area where they used to sit and enjoy their peaceful surroundings.
The loft has been boarded out so there is plenty of storage space and it has a loft ladder fitted so is easy to access.
There is parking for plenty of cars in front of the garage at the side of the house and a block paving area in the front where they used to keep their caravan.
Just across the road is a Co-op, pharmacy, Costa Coffee, newsagents/post office and a charity shop which was extremely handy for them when they got older and didn’t have a car to get around. There is also children’s play area nearby.
It has been a very happy home with lovely neighbours and hopefully the new owner will enjoy living there as much as my aunt and uncle.

The Agents View...
Whilst this property does require some improvements its very clean and live-able from the day you move in. Both the kitchen and bathrooms have been modernised in the last 10 years and the boiler is in good working condition. Each bedroom comfortably fits a double bed room and the garden faces directly south and has been well looked after.

The Area View...
Osney Road is located on the north side of Maidenhead, from this property its only a 10 minute walk to Furze Platt Train Station with links to Marlow (north) and south straight into Maidenhead Town Centre and Crossrail lines, or you can catch one of the local busses that takes 5-10 minutes that is available from this road into Maidenhead. The property is located opposite a parade of shops that has everything you would need on a day to day basis, with a lovely little play park to the side. North of the property is Cookham Village which has some amazing restaurants and scenic walks.
