The Sellers View...
In the late 1970's we moved from central London due to the birth of our first child as we wanted somewhere more suitable with a garden & quieter to raise our family.
We chose Maidenhead & Larchfield Road due to its green open spaces & the majority of the amenities were very local & convenient. The railway station & town centre are a 10 to 15 minute walk or a 5 minute ride on the bus which stops less than a hundred metres from the property. You can be on the M4 in a few minutes & the M40 in 10 minutes. Plus the doctors, local shops & park with sports facilities are also just a few minutes walk from the property.
Maidenhead now has the excellent Braywick Leisure & Sports centre & is convenient location for visiting Windsor, Ascot, Marlow, Henley etc.
So I have lived here in the same house for over 40 years & it has been a great place to live, work & raise our family. I will no doubt miss the area & especially my walks around Ockwells Park, Raymill Island, The Great Park & Burnham Beeches.
I have been living on my own for a number of years due to divorce & nearly 2 years ago met the new love of my life. So now is the time to get on with the next chapter of our lives together at her property in the West Midlands.
I sincerely hope that whoever moves in next can enjoy the property as much as I have done.
