I chose this house out of the several l went to view at the time, first and foremost, because of the unlimited supply of fresh air in a wooded area like this. A lake full of ducks and fish and a children's play park is an immense bonus for all.
Secondly, l can say confidently that Townsend Close surpasses anywhere I've ever lived. Imagine moving into a new road and discovering not only are the neighbours you get to know friendly, (and l mean getting acquainted with about 4 or more houses around you very well), but they also go out of their way to be helpful in time of need. For example, without me asking, my next door neighbour mows my lawn!
Then of course life is made very easy by the added advantage of the proximity of various facilities like big supermarkets - both Tesco and, Sainsbury's, Boots Pharmacy etc; and direct train lines to London or Reading at just 10 minutes walking distance to boot. I will not quickly forget this neighbourhood.

These kinds of properties are perfect first time/investment buys! Forest Park has always been a popular location for young families and those who love the outdoors for running, mountain biking or dog walking. Commuter links are also excellent with several train stations nearby and swift access to the M4 & M3.
Area Comment:
Forest Park is a modern development bordering Swinley Forest with many off road walks and paths leading to the Lookout and Coral Reef. Set between the Forest Park local centre, and also Crown Wood there is always a local shop, take away or childcare close by.
