We bought the house in 2014. We enjoyed the peaceful, secure garden, which was perfect for our four-year-old daughter, who loved the local park, only a short walk away.
The neighbours have always been extremely friendly and welcoming and were particularly supportive to my husband’s mother. There is a wonderful community spirit in the area, and St Luke’s Church and School are both walking distance from the house. There is also an excellent Italian Continental supermarket a few minutes away by foot and other local shops, including a Cook and a friendly café.
The picturesque Boulters lock is also walking distance away and Cookham village, which has many restaurants, shops and pubs, is a short 5 minute drive.
