It’s vital but most people forget to get their Will sorted!

When buying a property there are a few things everyone should do. One of the most important things to get done (or changed) is your Will and maybe even a lasting power of attorney.

Making a Will is the only way you can be sure that your wishes will be carried out when you’re no longer alive. Yes, this sounds a bit deep and scary but; the reason for this blog is to ensure people have the reminder needed because so many people forget.

With a Will in place, you can be confident that your assets will go to the people you intended – without leaving them any unnecessary burdens or worries.

A perfect example of a few celebrities that unfortunately passed away without a Will causing all sorts problems and legal battles among families are: Amy Winehouse, Prince and more recently Caroline Flack. Millions of pounds locked up in estates with solicitors…

Other milestones to think about amends to getting a Will are marriage, birth of a child, moving in with your partner or divorce.
